Nov 2005 (Part 2)

This page contains photos that don't fit in logically on other pages but do present some interesting views of the work that goes on.  On one of my visits I spotted that the original door on end A had been restored, revarnished and refitted.  It gives an indication of the colour that can be expected from the panels as well.
After three years hidden under a tarpaulin, the corridor connectors were moved under the cover of the polytunnel.  It keeps them drier and allows the amount of work that will be required to be clearly seen!
Its important to gather as many components while you can.  While some of these passenger doors came form this coach, others were rescued during a visit to the wilds of Scotland.
A last view towards the A end sowing the frame repairs, the A door and the compartment planking neatly piled up.
Top of page Three views of the B end framework before the panels went back on. (See Nov 2005Pt3) and it all became rather dark!
